Terms of Use
By installing or using HomeProof, you agree to these Terms of Use. They apply alongside the App Store's Standard EULA; where the two conflict, Apple's EULA prevails for the application licence.
1. Provider
HomeProof is provided by Tunari (Orest Kolodii, sole proprietor). Contact: tunarivpn@gmail.com.
2. The service
HomeProof is a personal vault for receipts, warranties, and proof of ownership. It runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 and later). Some features require an active subscription (HomeProof Pro).
3. Subscriptions
- HomeProof Pro is sold via the App Store as an auto-renewing yearly subscription at $19.99 / £19.99 / equivalent in your local currency.
- New users receive a 7-day free trial when starting a subscription for the first time. After the trial, your Apple ID is charged for the first year.
- The subscription auto-renews at the end of each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
- Refunds are issued by Apple at their discretion under their refund policy.
4. EU / UK consumer right of withdrawal
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers within the EU/EEA/UK have the right to withdraw from a digital content purchase within 14 days of the contract date — unless they have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal will be lost upon doing so.
HomeProof Pro is delivered immediately upon subscription purchase. By tapping "Subscribe", you expressly request immediate provision of digital content and acknowledge that you forfeit the 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have in case of defective goods or services.
Refund requests outside the App Store mechanism: write to tunarivpn@gmail.com within 14 days; we will help you initiate the request through Apple where possible.
5. Your data
The vault belongs to you. We do not access, transmit, or hold copies of it. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Insurance Reports — not legal advice
The "Insurance Proof Report" PDF is a convenience tool that summarises items in your vault. It is not an appraisal, not a legal document, and not a substitute for a formal insurance valuation. We make no warranty that any insurer will accept it. The accuracy of the report depends on the accuracy of the data you enter.
7. No warranty (the irony)
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and without warranties of any kind — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This clause does not limit any non-excludable statutory rights you have as a consumer. EU/UK consumers retain the rights set out in their national consumer protection laws.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tunari is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of HomeProof. For consumers in jurisdictions that do not allow such limitations, this clause applies only to the extent permitted by local law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use HomeProof to:
- Misrepresent ownership of items you don't own.
- Generate fraudulent insurance claims.
- Reverse-engineer the app for redistribution.
- Bypass Apple's StoreKit purchase flow or attempt to fraudulently claim Pro entitlement.
10. Termination
You may stop using HomeProof at any time by deleting the app and (optionally) the vault. We may revoke access to a Pro entitlement if you commit fraud, chargeback abuse, or material breach of these terms. Termination does not affect data already on your device.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are surfaced in-app before they take effect. EU/UK consumers will be given a 30-day notice for changes that significantly alter the agreement.
12. Governing law & dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, with disputes resolved in the courts of San Francisco County. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or UK, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence; you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
EU consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. We are not, however, obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
